CALC 'Infrastructure First' debate held on Friday 13th June, 2025.
The event was intended to elevate the important subject of the need of an Infrastructure Delivery Plan to be included in the Colchester Draft Local Plan which of course, includes 200 proposed dwellings in Wakes Colne.
The event attracted in excess of 75 visitors attending Langham Community Centre. With Rosie Pearson in the role of Question Master, a distinquished panel including Sir Bernard Jenkins, Cllr. Tim Young, Cllr. Sara Naylor, Cllr. Amy Kirkby-Taylor and Cllr. Lewis Barber shared their views and concerns about the importance of infrastructure first and answered questions from the audience.
